An Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) is a specially trained advocate/adviser with knowledge and experience of the criminal justice process who can provide support and information to women aged 18 and above. ISVAs are independent from the criminal justice system and the police, which means that their only focus is providing holistic, trauma-sensitive support to you.
