Our Care Navigators [Receptionists] are a fundamental element of the health centre and its system. Without an effective care navigation team, our systems would falter. Their task although sounding simple is far from it – they are here to navigate you to the best possible care available [which isn’t always the GP]. All we ask of our patients is that you kindly share with them information about why you are calling the service. That way, they are in the best possible position to support your needs.
Our dedicated reception team will always be here to handle your enquiries, book appointments, arrange the issue of prescriptions and are happy to offer a listening ear to any general enquiries and give assistance where possible.
They triage is system based and not a clinical system – they work to the direction of the GPs and they do not seek any information other than that which supports your needs. Please help them to help you.
